About
Destiny Alvarez is a Miami-based attorney and candidate for Circuit Court Judge, Group 67.
She serves as Managing Partner of the Miami office of Goede, DeBoest & Cross, where she leads the firm’s Miami-area practice and banking practice group while handling complex matters in land use, civil litigation, and banking law. Throughout her career, Destiny has managed a high-volume litigation docket across Florida courts and built a reputation for preparation, professionalism, and respect for all parties involved.
Destiny’s legal career has been shaped by the principles she believes every judge should bring to the bench: character, integrity, and fairness. She understands that the role of a judge is not to make law from the bench, but to follow the law faithfully, treat every person with dignity, and ensure that cases are decided fairly, impartially, and without bias.
Her commitment to public service began early. Destiny served as a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow, working on statewide policy initiatives and receiving the Governor Jeb Bush Award for Outstanding Achievement. She also gained valuable judicial experience as an extern in the United States District Court, where she developed a deeper understanding of the discipline, preparation, and judgment required of the bench.
A proud graduate of the University of Florida, Destiny earned both her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor’s degree in Economics. While at UF, she was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame and recognized as an Outstanding Student Leader.
Destiny Alvarez is running for Circuit Court Judge to serve Miami-Dade with the character to listen, the integrity to follow the law, and the fairness to treat every person with dignity and respect.
